A luxury town home community which spreads across 15 private landscaped streets, is located in Fairfax County about one mile northwest of the junction of Route 50 and Interstate 66 (take exit 57-B West). Fair Ridge is divided into two sections, north and south of Monument Drive, and consists of 232 garaged units and 230 non-garaged units.
Homeowners benefit from the Fair Ridge Community Association. They run a web site for residents which has some helpful information. Throughout the community you will also find pet stations for residents with dogs. All residents are required to get parking permits for their vehicles.
Amenities. Located within Fair Ridge is several options for recreation. An outdoor pool, tennis courts and a rentable Clubhouse. You will also find tot lots or playgrounds throughout the neighborhood. The Fair Ridge Recreation Association which is a membership organization that owns and operates the communities' recreation facilities and sponsors things like Fun Runs and Community Clean Ups. Fair Ridge is also convenient to Fair Ridge County Park with tennis, basketball, jogging and exercise facilities. And if that isn't enough, Fairfax County has lots of recreation facilities available to the public.
Local Transportation. Quick and easy access to Route 50 and I-66. For those who prefer mass transit, there is service provided by the Fairfax Connector to the Vienna Metro Station among other places. Only 12 miles to Dulles International Airport and 20 miles to Ronald Reagan National Airport.
Shopping and Entertainment. Nearby access to Fairfax Towne Centre, Fair Oaks Malls, Pender Village Center, Fairfax Corner and Fair Lakes Shopping Center. Located in these various centers are department stores, grocery stores, restaurants, movie theaters, specialty shops plus much more.
Local Area Services. Located within a mile of Fair Ridge on Route 50 is the Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire & Rescue and a Fairfax County Police station. The Fairfax County Government Center is about two miles away and Inova Fair Oaks Hospital less than three. Also close are the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) and the Chantilly Regional Library.
